At Mansfield PALS, your child will flourish under the gentle guidance of our teachers. We create a warm and caring environment where your child feels safe and inspired to learn, and the PALS teachers create dynamic lesson plans to keep kiddos engaged. All lessons plans are customized to meet the needs of each individual child. Read below to learn more about our three program offerings.

Infants

6 weeks - 15 months

Our Infant classroom is all about exploration. Infants are constantly watching, learning and listening to their environment. Our teachers take the infants for walks, paint with them, read stories, sing songs, and so much more. The infant classroom schedule is based on each individual child. While one baby may be napping, another may be exploring their expanding world in a sensory bin. Our little ones are growing and learning each day and our teachers are there with many new, exciting ways to help them thrive!

Toddlers

Toddler A : 15 months - 2 years

Toddler B : 2 years - 2 years, 9 months

In the toddler classroom, we focus on exploration through our senses. Toddlers have the ability to move freely throughout the classroom to learn and grow while still adhering to a structured routine. Toddlers are introduced to basic social skills such as taking turns and sharing, and they begin to engage in parallel play. Our daily activities consist of circle time, art, sensory and STEM, games promoting fine and gross motor development, story time, and outdoor play. Out toddler classrooms follow a weekly curriculum where the children will participate in thematic activities. We also have a different color and shape that our toddlers focus on each month!

PreSchool & Pre-K

Preschool: 2 years, 9 months - Pre-K

Pre-K: Students enter Pre-K in September of the year before Kindergarten

In Preschool, we focus on social-emotional growth, as well as letter and number recognition. Eventually our preschoolers learn to write their own names. We learn how to work together and how to conquer objectives by ourselves. Preschoolers count numbers, and work on leatrning the days of the week and months of the year.

In Pre-K, children learn through play with an additional focus on academics as we prepare for Kindergarten.

Both groups are busily engaging in science, art, math, and language activities as well as leaving time for meals, circle time, and our favorite - outside / gross motor play!
